Jeff Randolph, Tennis Professional. I have been teaching tennis for over 30 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. I teach private for Adults and Juniors in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, primarily Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, and Woodside. My rates are based on experience and knowledge reflecting 30 years of professional and personal tennis expertise. Discounted prepaid lesson packages are also available.
As a former Ranked player and Stanford player, I have been teaching for over 30 years in the Bay Area. My club experience includes teaching at the California Tennis Club, Olympic Club, Moraga Tennis Club, and Marin Tennis Club. I also enjoy coaching players and captaining USTA NorCal 5.0-5.5 teams.
I teach the game because I love it and my goal is to impart that same appreciation, dedication and expertise to my clients, lessons and friends.
My tennis instruction can be tailored in two main styles: teaching and perfecting your tennis technique, or achieving and maintaining your fitness.
Cardio fitness is of the utmost importance both on and off the court. The frequency and intensity of high-energy drills can help you achieve and maintain your fitness goals. Strengthening your legs, core and upper body all contribute toward your overall fitness and help to improve your game. One hour of a singles tennis game will burn 400 to 500 calories for women, and 600 to 700 calories for men.
I believe in focused and specialized instruction to work on specific techniques, with lessons structured to increase your skill level. I also recommend cardio as a complement to technique lessons. My current favorite indoor cycling, using the Keiser M3. A winning combination!
Building on its history as the oldest company specializing in racquet sports, Babolat has continued to maintain the highest standards for innovation with its tennis racquets. I highly recommend my students choose Babolat for their tennis game.
I am currently taking new students. Standard rates for a private one-hour lesson start at $100. Additionally, discounted prepaid packages are available and offer a savings over paying one at a time. I am currently offering an introductory package of 4, one-hour lessons for $325.
Contact me today to schedule a tennis lesson in Palo Alto and the surrounding areas. I’d be happy to review your tennis playing level and set goals to meet your needs.
